A Toast From Avanti Winery

Summer is always a fun time. Lots of sunshine and outdoor activities galore. There is so much fun to be had in the summer. Especially in Colorado. Having the kids out of school also really adds to the fun. But as the saying goes, “all good things must come to an end” and so does summer. Tradition tells us that we say ‘goodbye’ to summer once the kids go back to school.

And since that time has come for us, we wanted to raise our (wine) glass for a toast. ‘Why?’, you ask. We’ve got lots of reasons. First a toast to a wonderful summer. A summer of travel, adventures and Colorado living. A summer of festivals, friends and family. We toast you for showing up to all of the great events, both near and far.

While summer is supposed to be a slower, more relaxing time of year, we know that it isn’t always. Summer can be full of We toast the effort and hardwork that goes into the entertaining demands, for both adults and kids. We toast all of the parents out there who ran your kids to this day camp and that day camp, swim lessons or sleepovers. All of this just to keep them from the “I’m bored” complaint!

And then there’s back to school. While getting the kids back to school may provide parents with a twinge of excitement, there is much to be done to get them there. The seemingly endless searches for their school supplies, the shopping for the coolest new clothes and some kickin’ new shoes. Plus the devices. Getting the latest and greatest electronic devices for the kiddos for school now is part of the process. For these reasons, we raise our glass to you as well. Take a sip (or gulp. We won’t judge) of a savory red (Pinot Pomegranate is a fav). You made it yet another year.

And most importantly, we raise our glass for you. Whether you are near or far, virtual or in person, we love the community that we get to be a part of each and every day. All of us at Avanti Winery | Gars & Grapes are thrilled to be a part of  it. A toast to you and yours as we prepare to say goodbye to summer and welcome a new season. Cheers!
